The Singer Featherweight is loved by quilters for its portability and simple operation. This machine is
S.N. AL546570, commissioned October 14, 1953. This machine has a beautiful stitch and has been taken care of through the years with only a few blemishes for its 73 years.
The machine was disassembled except for the gear shafts, parts were ultrasonically cleaned, rust inhibitor applied, oiled and greased, cleaned and waxed. The motor was dismantled, commutator cleaned and new grease wicks installed. The machine has been reset to factory standards after reassembly and will sew when you take it out of its case.
The machine has a few new pieces- LED bulb, Featherweight Shop Superbelt, bottom drip pan pad and grease wicks.
The pin power terminal on the machine was restored with an authentic part.
The machine comes with the refurbished case, Singer Buttonholer, original low shank straight stitch foot,original instruction book, original bobbin case and bobbin. Plus, one new bobbin and new needle.
